Fred Endert Pool updates

Hello Everyone,

The Fred Endert Municipal Pool is pleased to announce our collaboration with the Brookings Pool/South Coast Community Aquatics (SCCA), to explore the possibility of re-opening the Brookings facility from December through February, during our planned maintenance closure. This initiative aims to ensure that both communities continue to have access to the vital services that the pool provides, including exercise and aerobics, youth activities, and family swims, which are essential for promoting a healthy lifestyle. To successfully meet the needs of our community, we kindly request your assistance.

Due to the high cost of heating the Brookings outdoor pool, along with associated staffing costs, we need to secure funding commitments from the pool users to assist in covering these expenses. We are reaching out to both Del Norte and Curry County swimmers to receive commitments to purchase a monthly pass priced at $75 for Adults, $60 for Seniors, $40.00 for Youth, $120.00 for a Family of 4 during these winter months. We will also be offering a 10% discount for a purchase of all 3 months.

Your commitment and feedback will help us determine if we have sufficient funding and interest to operate the pool safely and effectively.

Due to the tight time schedule, we would like to receive your input by Friday, October 18th. Please email or call Alissa Garcia at agarcia@crescentcity.org or by calling 707-458-8452 to support this endeavor or seek more information.

We believe this could be the beginning of a long-term collaboration with the two aquatic facilities to ensure that all of our North/South coast community residents have continued year-round access to pool activities.
