Happy May everyone!

CURRENTLY HAPPENING

• Starting May 5th- the first Friday of each month we will turn on the slide from 9:00-9:30 AM for all to enjoy!
• The pool allows shoes to be worn in the locker rooms and the pool deck as long as they have never been worn on the ground outside. If you can, purchase a pair of "pool only shoes" and help us cut down on the amount of plastic waste used for shoe coverings.
• You can bring your own lock to use the lockers daily, but you must remove the lock once you are finished for the day, or your lock will be removed and belongings inside will be held to the front office.
• The pool will be closed Monday, May 8th AND Friday, May 19th 7-8 PM for private rentals.

SWIM LESSONS

• Please view our CivicRec catalog page for upcoming Summer Group Lessons.

• Registration for Group Lessons Summer Session 1: July 11th-27th will be Monday, June 26th, starting at 6 AM online and in person.

• When signing up for group lessons you may only sign your child up for one level at a time.

• There will not be a June session of group lessons.

• Individual lessons are still being offered Saturday mornings!

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of the Del Norte Healthcare District-

• Starting the 1st of every month, The Del Norte Healthcare District will be sponsoring 30 Senior (ages 64 +) Month passes! This is a first come, first serve basis for low- income seniors (64+). • Saturday Recreation Swims 3-4:30 PM are being offered for free to all ages.

• Group Swim lessons are also being offered for free! Please note, there will be no June Session for group swim lessons.

SUBJECT: Temporary Pool Closure for slide maintenance

For Immediate Release:

The Fred Endert Pool will be temporarily closed for slide maintenance. For the public’s safety, the City will keep the facility closed until the maintenance is done. We will keep the public notified via our website, CrescentCity.Org, and Facebook pages, Crescent City CA – City Hall and Fred Endert Pool. If you have any questions or concerns or would like to check the status of the pool closure, you can contact our office line at 707-464-9503 or email agarcia@crescentcity.org. All passes will be given a week extension.
