Fred Endert Municipal Pool Updates
Happy Fall to all you Swimmers and Aqua walkers!
Please be sure to take a peek at our current pool schedule- click HERE!
We have a few updates we would like to share with you;
- If we do not see attendance in our evening 7:10 PM Friday Lap Swim we will have to cut that program. This will be decided tonight 9/17/21 as it has been available for 3 weeks now and we have seen 0 attendance.
- We will be closing our doors between programs if there is not sufficient staff to properly man the office. So if the doors are closed before your program, do not worry, you will be let in soon!
- We will be asking that guest who are staying through multiple programs leave the deck once the program is over. The reasons being;
- During our program changes, our staff cannot be 100% devoted to keep guests safe or watching for sudden illnesses while they are involved with the program switch.
- We need to properly sanitize equipment, bathrooms, and the commonly touched surfaces.
- We would like to have you all check back in with us at the front office so we can track our program attendance! If you have paid the "Use Fee" or if you have a punch pass this WILL NOT RESULT IN THE NEED FOR ANOTHER PAYMENT/PUNCH.
- If you leave the facility and come back at a later time this will result in the need for another payment or punch on your punch card. This does not apply for the Annual or Monthly Pass.
- Coming in October our awesome Master's program will be using all 6 lanes 5:30-6:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays as a closed facility rental. Regular open Lap swim will proceed 6:30-7:45 AM.
With the continuing surge of COVID cases we still have some precautions in place to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.
-
Vaccinated or not, all individuals over 2 years old are required to wear a facial covering while in the facility and not in the swimming pool (lobby, locker rooms, and deck).
-
Only 1 family group allowed in the lobby at a time.
-
If you are able to please exit out the deck doors after your lesson or program (you can change in the locker room before doing so if you wish).
-
Social distance at least 6 feet apart when in the locker room and on the pool deck.
-
Please remember to not wear shoes in the locker room or on the pool deck.
- Lost and found will not be kept unless you call us to let us know you left something!
- Swim lesson levels yellow and under still require parent/guardian participation (1 parent or guardian will be required to be in the water for each child to participate).
-
Recreation and Family swims are still temporarily unavailable. We will evaluate where our county is with COVID cases every 2 weeks and if it is deemed safe we will be able to open again for these swims.
- Locker room showers and the sauna are still unavailable.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. Thank you all for being so understanding and supportive of our awesome community pool!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us :)
Thank you,
Fred Endert Municipal Pool Staff
