We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about the reopening of the Fred Endert Pool!
We would like to start off with expressing a heartfelt thank you to our community, the City Council, the Measure S committee, the Contractors, and the City team for their dedication. The new flooring and heating systems will enhance the experience for all. This project reflects our commitment to the health and wellness of all our residents. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you back in the water!
We wanted to give you a quick update: unfortunately, a key fitting for one of the boilers did not ship with the boiler. This will postpone the official grand re-opening event from our original date of March 8th to Saturday, March 22nd.
Put it on your calendars and invite your friends and family to join us for "Cannonball Chaos" at the Fred Endert Pool on Saturday, March 22nd. The doors will open at 11:30 AM, for this free event that includes games and giveaways. At noon, we’ll celebrate a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on the pool deck. We can’t wait to see you, as the City officially welcomes you back to the pool!
Starting Monday March 24th, we’re excited to let you know that the Pool will be back to our normal operating hours! We’ll be open Monday through Saturday for Lap Swim, Aerobics classes, and recreational swims. For our water joggers and light swimmers, we've also given our Exercise program a new name – it’s now called Open Swim! We’re really pleased to share this change with everyone as we look ahead.
This schedule will run until May 3rd, allowing our staff to wrap up teaching the 4th grade school lessons.
Come May, we’re thrilled to announce that Swim Lessons will be returning, along with some new options! We’ll be offering Saturday group and individual lessons, as well as a Junior Lifeguard swim class.
