Brother Jonathan Park and Overlook | |||
Location:9th Street and Pebble Beach Drive This waterfront park is situated next to Fraser Park. These parks share large green lawns and restrooms. Directly a cross Pebble Beach Drive is an observation point with parking and benches. This observation point overlooks Battery Point Lighthouse (to the south) and Preston Island (to the north). |

Battery Point Lighthouse and Museum | ||

This is an active lighthouse that serves as a private aid to navigation. Its oil lamps were first lit on December 10, 1856. The Battery Point Lighthouse is open to the public for tours which include the opportunity to look into the personal quarters of keepers and their families. All tours are scheduled TIDE PERMITTING. Coastal Trail | ||
The California Coastal trail enters city limits at the south end of Sunset Circle and exits city limits just past E Condor Street. Notable areas along the Coastal trail include the Veterans Memorial, Cultural Center, Swimming Pool, a beach access point, Howe Park (with ADA beach access), The Marine Mammal Center, Battery Point Light House, Point Saint George Memorial Overlook, and Point Saint George Cemetery/Park. |
